Eligible commercial landscapers and landscaping businesses operating in San Carlos can receive up to $500 for electric leaf blowers and associated batteries.
Check the business requirements
The City says applicants need an active San Carlos Business License. Eligible businesses may receive up to two rebates per year.
Ask customers to help
Residents can get their own rebate, keep an electric blower charged at the property, and make it available for you to use.

San Carlos residents can receive up to $100 for an electric leaf blower and associated battery. The limit is one rebate per household.
Keep it charged and accessible
Store the blower where your gardener can reach it and charge the battery before each visit.
Ask your gardener to use it
This removes the need for the crew to buy, carry, and keep another battery charged just for your property.

Gas-powered blowers burn fuel and release exhaust where crews and neighbors breathe. Electric tools eliminate exhaust at the point of use.
Protect hearing
Repeated workplace exposure to noise at or above 85 dBA can cause permanent hearing loss. Quieter tools reduce the burden.

Less engine noise means less disruption to work, rest, conversation, pets, and time outdoors.
